My husband and I spent three years living in Africa, both in South Africa and Tanzania- two vastly different places with such unique beauty in each. Here are a few images that capture some places and people who have forever captured a piece of me.

They are women who love fiercely and serve generously. They have both mothered their own children and a whole gaggle of bonus people they effort

At 12 years old I had one of the most wonderful adventures. I flew to New York City by myself to visit my aunt. We saw Broadway shows, went to FAO Schwartz, and swore I was moving there one day.
